For Immediate Release March 28, 2011 Micron Bio-Systems presented with 2011 “Boss Gobbler Award”: Buena Vista VA— On Saturday March 26, 2011, during the Rockbridge Chapter of The National Wildlife Turkey Federation‟s annual dinner, Micron Bio-Systems was awarded the “Boss Gobbler Award” for unselfish dedication to the conservation of our wild turkey and our hunting heritage. The National Wildlife Turkey Federation is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving wild turkey and our hunting heritage. The NWTF has worked to not only conserve nearly 16 million acres of habitat for hundreds of species of upland wildlife, but also to bring new conservationists and hunters into the fold. The NWTF offers multiple outdoor education events, along with the Women in the Outdoors, Wheelin‟ Sportsmen, JAKES, and Xtreme JAKES youth outreach programs.
