Founded in the U.S. by Dr. David Parfitt in Montvale, VA, Micron has grown progressively over the last 15 years. Micron now has offices, laboratory space, and production capabilities in the town of Buena Vista, VA, and in Bridgewater, England. With this growth has come the ability to offer great opportunities and experiences for its employees.

Micron Bio-Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce its upcoming participation in the 2011 Large Herds Seminar entitled “Measuring Outcome, Managing Outcome.” The 6th annual Large Herd Seminar will be held in South Gloucestershire, England, June 21-22, 2011. The event will feature two days of world-class speakers addressing the challenges facing producers in today’s dairy industry. Discussions will focus on improving herd management and feeding standards. Micron Bio-Systems, Inc. will host a pre-seminar luncheon buffet that includes two informative presentations.

For the first time in company history, the U.S. team will be traveling to England as a group to participate in the seminar. Bob Rhoades, General Manager , Kara Keenum, Marketing Manager , and the U.S. Technical Sales Representatives will be joining the Micron team from the UK for a week of intense learning opportunities. Micron is proud to be in a position to access these resources, and bring valuable information home to offer stronger field support for producers and extension agents.
